RIB Excursion with Crab Fishing

Join us on a fishing trip for tasty and fresh taskekrabbe (brown crab)! The fisherman’s village of Å is as far as you can drive onto the Lofoten Archipelago. But it is not the end of the line - on this adventure our experienced guide will sail you onto the Norwegian Sea for a crab fishing trip letting you admire the fjords and Lofoten from the open water as well.

You will embark on a fast RIB boat to collect the crab pots accompanied by a passionate and professional fisherman guide, who knows these waters like the back of his hands and can tell you all about your surroundings as well as the local fishing culture. Maybe you’re even lucky enough to spot a Norwegian sea eagle or some arctic dolphins. Together you will check and reel in the eco-friendly and authentically made crab fishing pots, filling the buckets with crabs. With the freshly caught mighty sea creatures you will sail back to Å and approach the village just like the traditional fisherman used to do after a long time at sea.

Upon returning to Å, to top your adventure off we will serve a light crab soup made from the freshly caught crabs.
