Snowmobiling Evening

Join us for an unforgettable snowmobile safari above the Arctic Circle! At our wilderness center Camp Tamok, only a 75-minutes scenic drive from Tromsø you can experience the magical winter landscape and fun of snowmobiling. If you are really lucky the Northern Lights will be dancing above you all evening!

At our wilderness center Camp Tamok, you can experience the magical winter landscape and fun of snowmobiling. Upon arrival you will be directed to the equipment room, where you will be provided with warm clothes and shoes for the day. Here you can also leave anything you don’t need on the tour. We will go through our safety instructions and give you some practical demonstration on how to drive the snowmobile.

You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling adventure between the snow-covered mountains up to a frozen lake. Lake Finn marks the halfway point of our snowmobiling adventure and is a good place to take photos and play in the snow.

After driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we will serve you a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromsø and tick another adventure off your bucket list!

Note! In order to drive the snowmobile, you need to be minimum 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license. Children below the age of 7 are not allowed. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
